It is with great sadness that our MMIA family said good-bye to two longtime members recently.

MMIA WORKSHOP 2023

One hundred fifty singers from all corners of Indiana gathered in Shipshewanna, IN for the annual MMIA Workshop. This was an opportunity to learn new choral music for the 2023-24 season. It was also a time to greet friends and make beautiful music together while preparing a rehearsal CD for the singers unable to attend.

MMIA performance May 19, 2019 – Warsaw Performing Arts Center

MMIA performed in concert Saturday, May 19, 2019 at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center. "The audience count was over 200 people in attendance. Thank you to everyone who participated, sold tickets, and helped promote the program in any manner." Dan Beam, MMIA President Elect - Kosciusko County

MMIA RECEIVE IAC GRANT

The Melody Makers of Indiana Association has been awarded a $5,000 grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to be received in June of 2018. Board members Jane Massey, Pat Perry, Leslie Brost, and Phyllis McCormack attend the Bravo to the Arts event where they were given a certificate to acknowledge the grant.

Many Thanks to Retiring President Jerry Morgan

The MMIA Board presented outgoing President, Jerry Morgan, with their thank-you gift and a huge THANKS for the wonderful job he has done since being on the Board. Jerry stepped in and did a marvelous job when our former President, Connie Meek, passed away. Jerry is taking a leave of absence from Melody Makers to enjoy more time with his grandson. The entire chorus will definitely miss him.
